Design

Under the leadership of race car designer/builder/driver Jeff Lutz of Lutz Race Cars, a 57 Chevy Bel Air was constructed to complete in the 2009 Hot Rod magazine ‘Drag Week’.

The car features an original 57 Chevy 2 Door Hardtop metal body supported by a Lutz designed and constructed tubular frame and cage certified for runs up to 200 MPH. The car will be powered by a Pat Musi prepared 600 cu. in. engine enhanced to 3600 horsepowerwith twin Precision Turbos.
